Field trips to the farm are a fantastic way for students to experience hands on, play, learning about agriculture! As a teacher, you are providing a one-of-a-kind experience for your students. Many students would never have the chance to see and experience the farm, if their school did not provide this opportunity! Field trips to the farm are every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting October 2, 2024 and concluding October 25th, 2024. School groups can enjoy the farm from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. We will not open until 10:00 am. Admission for School Field Trips is $12/student. One teacher and one school para can get in free. Admission includes a cup of feed for the petting farm and mega slide rides. Each student will receive a wristband and will be required to have their wristband on for the entirety of the field trip. Students are welcome to bring sack lunches and refreshments. We have several places on the farm to sit and eat lunch. Please bring extra water bottles. The students get very thirsty on the farm! Students can bring concession money, but we find many do not bring extra money! All concessions and activities are available on Field Trip days, except wagon rides. Students and all guests are encouraged to dress in layers. The farm can feel very chilly if it is windy. We also encourage all guests to wear closed toed shoes. If the temperature is below 45 degrees, it is forecasted to rain all day, if there is snow or there has been a down pour rain causing mud, the field trip day will be cancelled. We will do our best to accommodate all of our field trips and provide an additional field trip day on the farm. Unfortunately, one of the hardest parts of agriculture is having no control over the weather. We have learned that if the weather is inclement, the field trip is not fun! We want every student to leave the farm having experienced the BEST DAY EVER! Field trips must be paid for on the day of the field trip. No invoices will be sent. A receipt will be sent by the next business day. We can accept all payments at the farm including cash, check or credit cards.
